Booking Terms

and Conditions

It is important that you read all information carefully & ensure that you understand and accept the conditions outlined before proceeding with your booking.

The issuance and acceptance of invoices, receipts, tickets, itineraries, vouchers, coupons or exchange orders shall be deemed consent to the Terms/Conditions & Waiver.

1. VALIDITY 

Products and prices in Ski Adventures brochures and online information (e.g. website/email) are subject to change without notice.  These prices are valid, unless superseded or otherwise indicated, from 1 December 2023 to 20 April, 2024.
2. DELIVERY OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Travel documents are delivered to you via email and/or the national postal service.  Some countries do exchange documents on arrival or check-in.
3. GENERAL INFORMATION & BOOKING CONDITIONS

All reservations are subject to availability.  Verbal quotes and quotes listed within an email/text message are regarded as an estimate and prices are only confirmed with a written quote.  All quotes are valid for for the nominated period or not more than 7 days from the date of issue. All written quotes are subject to change at anytime.
4. QUOTATIONS, BOOKINGS

are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Any verbal quote is an estimate only of the price which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the reservation.  As land arrangements for each entire tour, as specified in the itineraries, represent a complete package of arrangements, itemisation of costs will not be tendered.
5. PRICES 

All prices quoted are based on current rates (in the quoted currency) & accordingly are subject to change without notice. Prices not in written quotes are provided as a guide only due to high season demand, tax alterations or currency fluctuations.  Please check all prices with Ski Adventures before booking.
6. CURRENCY

All pricing supplied by Ski Adventures (written or verbal) is subject to change due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates without notice.  Ski Adventures will notify of any price variation due to currency rates on quotations and invoices.  Check currency listed on quotes & invoices.
7. DEPOSIT

A minimum deposit of 50% of the package cost or $2000 per person is payable within 5 days on confirmation of booking, or sooner as may be required.  This deposit should be made directly with Ski Adventures from the Ski Adventures invoice sent to you.  A further deposit may be required for bookings falling over the Christmas and Presidents week periods, or as otherwise stated.
8. BALANCE

Balance is due in full 90 days prior to commencement of your first Ski Adventures booking date and is payable to SAC SKI Pty Ltd.  For payments incurring merchant fees a minimum 2.25% charge will apply and the fee may be higher.
9. LATE BOOKINGS

Ski Adventures reserves the right to charge late booking fees for any booking made inside of 30 days of departure.  Full payment will be required at the time of booking.   Before any booking can be made, a valid credit card number must be provided to Ski Adventures to guarantee against changes and cancellation fees.
10. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

1. A cancellation made outside of 65 days of travel will incur a minimum fee of 10% of the total cost or $500 per person, whichever the greater, plus any charges levied by ground/tour operators, lodging providers, airlines, ski guiding/programs or lift companies.
2. A cancellation made within 65 days of travel may or will incur a 100% cancellation fee of of the total booking amount.  No refunds will be given on any unused portion of your booking.  No product or service providers are entitled to offer a refund on our behalf.
3. Once airline tickets are issued, cancellations for any reason will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the ticket cost plus administration fees.
11. BOOKING ADMINISTRATION CHARGE & AMENDMENTS

will apply, based on the complexity of the booking and range from $0.00 to in excess of $1000.  This charge will be included on the invoice and further charges will apply for changes to confirmed arrangements, plus any fees or cancellation charges imposed by the lodging providers, service/tour operators, ski guiding/programs or airlines. Within 65 days of departure the cancellation conditions will apply in full.
12. BEDDING & SPECIAL REQUESTS
Bedding special requests can be made however, they are not guaranteed.  Please make us aware of any special requests you have.
13. CONFIRMATIONS & INVOICES

are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the passenger accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation.
14. NOT INCLUDED IN COST OF HOLIDAYS

Cost of passports, and visas where required, items not specified as being included, airport taxes where applicable, laundry, telephone calls, food not included on regular menus, ski or equipment hire (unless stated), lift passes (unless stated), ski locker rental and any other item of a personal nature.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKINGS 

Bookings are accepted subject to the services or accommodation applied for being available.  Ski Adventures reserves the right, without notice, to modify, cancel or withdraw any of the arrangements and in this event the full amount paid will be returned to the customer, and upon rendering the same, all liability of Ski Adventures in respect thereof shall cease. Ski Adventures reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any party at any time. Bookings with Carriers are also subject to the Carriers’ terms and conditions as printed or referred to in their tickets and/or timetables and/or regulations.
16. PASSPORTS AND VISA

S It is your responsibility to arrange all necessary passports and visas.  Please make sure these are in order before traveling.  Where a child is traveling without one or both parents formal written consent from the non-traveling parent(s) must be carried with the child's passport.  Ski Adventures is happy to advise you on this important point.
Traveling to Canada and/or the United States of America sees your responsibility to complete their visa application process (USA - ESTA and for Canada - ETA) and these MUST be done before your departure to those countries.  
17. ACCOMMODATION CLEANING 

Frequently accommodations do not include cleaning and charge for cleaning service.  This includes depart cleaning and mid stay cleaning.

18. LUGGAGE

Luggage, including personal articles, is at all times and in all circumstances at the owners’ risk except to the extent of any insurance purchased by the customer

19. INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended for everyone undertaking travel, including tours and travel services, to insure themselves against medical expenses, personal accident. loss of deposit and cancellation fees and also their luggage against damage, loss, theft, etc.  Due to the potentially hazardous nature of snow sports and costs associated with experiencing difficulties when away from home, you are REQUIRED to purchase travel insurance before traveling with Ski Adventures. There are many travel insurance providers including health funds, national postal service (eg Australia Post) & some credit cards offer cover* (*conditions apply).
20. SNOW CONDITIONS

Average snow fall statistics as indicated on websites including, but not limited to; Ski Adventures, ski resorts and other websites are deemed correct at the time of printing.  It should be understood that Ski Adventures cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions.  No refund for client cancellation or alteration or amended of confirmed travel can be provided on the basis of weather conditions.
21. CHILDREN

All prices referring to discounts for children (1-12 years or as specified) are based on one (1) child sharing with 2 adults using existing bedding.  If an additional bed is required, this is likely to be a roll-away bed and will incur an additional charge.  Where children under 2 years are accommodated free of charge, usually a cot will not be provided.  Some accommodations may be able to supply a cot but this may be subject to an additional charge.  No responsibility can be taken where children have NOT been included in the booking with Ski Adventures.
22. LIFT PASSES

Lift passes are included only as stated.  Lift passes in some resorts may require a photo.  No refunds can be given for any unused days on lift passes included in the holiday packages, should the days not be fully utilised.  If you are using multi-resort passes (such as the EPIC, IKON or resort specific passes with reciprocal lift tickets at other resorts), there are no refunds for tickets included in your Ski Adventures booking(s). 
23. UNUSED VOUCHERS

No refunds will be given on unused vouchers for accommodation, transfers, ski passes, ski program(s), coaching, instruction or guiding, activities or any other bookings.
24. BROCHURE ACCURACY

Whilst every effort is made on the accuracy of Ski Adventures brochures and online information (e.g. website), Ski Adventures cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions occurring in the production or changes to inclusions, facilities or amenities as specified, during the validity of the programme.  Care will be taken however, to insure the information is updated on any major changes that could affect the enjoyment of your holiday.  Accommodations, decorations, fixtures & fittings may vary from photographs.
25. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ACCEPTANCE OF RISKS

For any/all guided and/or escorted and/or instructional and/or coaching activities provided by Ski Adventures staff and/or contractors, participation requires each individuals signing of our Waiver/Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement BEFORE Purchasing.  CLICK HERE and Read the document before booking.
26. GOVERNING LAW OF CONTRACT

Any contract for these tours is deemed to be made in N.S.W, Australia and shall be governed by the law of NSW and any disputes shall be dealt with and heard in the Sydney Consumer Affairs Tribunal or Sydney Law Courts.
27. DEFINITIONS

Ski Adventures, a registered name of SAC SKI Pty Ltd (ABN: 52111820029) in the state of New State Wales Australia, is an independent travel/tour operator working in association with wholesale and travel product/service providers. 28. RESPONSIBILITIES

Ski Adventures in arranging and organising the vacation is acting as a tour operator. The company cannot be held liable for any alterations, act or omission on the part of those supplying accommodation, coach, air, or rental car services, or any other services incidental thereto. Furthermore, the responsibilities of the air or transportation carriers and ski resort lift companies participating in the tour are limited as specified in their tickets, conditions of carriage and tariffs. Ski Adventures shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused to person or property however caused or arising during any tour under its management, sponsorship, procurement or otherwise, not withstanding the Company’s principal may be a foreign Company. corporation or person. It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that they are in possession of the proper travel documents and that they are in compliance with the government and Transportation companies’ regulations.  The right is reserved to modify the itinerary in any way considered necessary or desirable or to change any reservation, and/or means of conveyance, without notice and for any reason whatsoever and without allowance or refund but the extra cost, if any, resulting there from must be paid by the passenger.  The right is also reserved to cancel or withdraw any tour, or any booking made for a passenger, or to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour for any reason whatsoever.  No refunds can be made in respect of accommodation and skiing not utilized and under no circumstances can refunds be made for tours and sightseeing excursions not undertaken.  The transportation companies and firms shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness, or injury however and by whom so ever caused and to whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies or firms.  Passage contracts in use by the transport companies or firms concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchaser of these tours and or passengers.  All fares are subject to change without notice.
