Documentation

Will I be required to sign a waiver ?

​Yes, all participants/members/guests must sign the waiver as a condition of registration and participation.

​Each individual adult (age of majority and older) must complete and sign their own waiver.

If a person registers several family members or friends, each individual must be sent a copy of the waiver for signature prior payment being received.

Parents may sign the waiver on behalf of their minor-aged children.

Skiing Ability

How good a skier do I need to be?

Ski Safaris

You should be a strong Intermediate to Advanced level skier. Comfortable both on-piste and off-piste, in moguls and powder.

Ski Camps

Our Camps are designed for a wide range of skiers from Low-Intermediate to Advanced wanting to improve technique, confidence and all terrain skills.

Helmets

Are helmet's required ?

It is highly recommended for all skiers and riders.

Wearing helmets is required for all under the age of 19 years.

All Ski Adventures team members wear a helmet while skiing with you.

Please make your own safety and well-being a priority and wear a helmet while skiing and riding.

Weather

Snow conditions

Average snow fall statistics as indicated on websites including, but not limited to; Ski Adventures, ski resorts and other websites are deemed correct at the time of printing.

It should be understood that Ski Adventures cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions.  No refund for client cancellation or alteration or amended of confirmed travel can be provided on the basis of weather conditions

Skis

What type of ski should I bring?

All Mountain and Carving skis are typically what will work best for your ski adventure.

If you are booking into our Ski Safaris then for sure bring your All Mountain skis.

If you are booking our Ski Camps then bring your carving skis.

If you have both carving and all mountain skis and are able to bring them, please do so you can select the ski for the conditions.

Of course, it is easy to rent all mountain skis at most every ski rental business. 

Travel Insurance

Do I need travel insurance ?

It is strongly recommended for everyone undertaking travel, including tours and travel services, to insure themselves against medical expenses, personal accident, loss of deposit and cancellation fees and also their luggage against damage, loss, theft, etc.  Due to the potentially hazardous nature of snow sports and costs associated with experiencing difficulties when away from home, you are REQUIRED to purchase travel insurance before traveling with Ski Adventures. There are many travel insurance providers including health funds, national postal service (eg Australia Post) & some credit cards offer cover* (*conditions apply).
